Carl? |
Carl |
What? |
Gail |
Would you rather have a red washing-up bowl and a red washing-up bowl, brush I mean, or a brown washing-up brush, I mean bowl, and a brown washing-up brush, or a yellow washing-up bowl and a brown washing-up brush? |
Carl |
Why? |
Gail |
Just wondered? |
Carl |
We want to be investing in paintings, us. |
Gail |
Picture paintings? |
Carl |
Yeah. Something with elephants. |
Gail |
I don’t really like elephants, Carl. |
Carl |
Well, you say what’s to be on t’painting, then. |
Gail |
I know, let’s have a painting of digestive biscuits, cos’ we both like them don’t we, Carl? |
Carl |
No, it’s got to be something like some scenery. |
Gail |
All right, then, some digestive biscuits and a Alp. |
Carl |
All right, but they’d better be chocolate. |
Gail |
Why are they called Alps, Carl? |
Carl
Well, people go ski-ing on them, and fall off, don’t they? And they go ‘Help Help’ but it sounds like ‘Alp’ cos they all have ear-muffs on. |
Gail |
You’re dead clever, you. You should have gone to – where is it, they have scarves? |
Carl |
Oxford and Cambridge. |
Gail |
Yeah, you should have gone there. |
Carl |
For three years? |
Gail |
Yeah. |
Carl |
And loose all t’good will on the window-cleaning? |
Gail |
Never thought of that, Carl. |
