ZR2. AC OWNERS CLUB CAR BADGE. This is a 1950s version of the badge and has some enamel loss along the bottom. It measures 4 x 3 inches. Price £100 ZR3. CHICAGO MOTOR CLUB CAR BADGE. This one is probably pre-war and has some enamel damage and loss, but it generally in good condition. Is is convex and measures 3 1/2 inches in diameter. Price £85 ZR4. LONDON MOTOR CLUB CAR BADGE. This badge has a small chip in the enamel flag, but otherwise is in good condition. It looks like the tongue has been shortened a bit. It measures 4 x 3 1/4 inches. Price £85 ZR5. WEST ESSEX CAR CLUB CAR BADGE. This badge is in good condition and has been mounted on a chrome support, to enable badge-bar mounting. The overall size is 4 x 3 1/4 inches. Price £90 ZR7. LAPEL BADGE COLLECTION. Another well presented collection of lapel badges on a chrome badge bar. This is a very good selection of badges and consists of the following: London Motor Club, West Hants and District Car Club, AA,N.L.E.C.C., AC Owners Club, Southsea Motor Club, West Essex Car Club, BARC, Aston Martin, Order of the Road, Herts County Auto & Aero Club, Riley Motor Club, Veteran Motorist (15 years ), RAC,Junior Car Club, Hagley & District Light Car Club and MG Car Club. It measures 26 1/2 x 2 inches. Price £375 ZR9. HERTS COUNTY AUTO & AERO CLUB LAPEL BADGE. Another original, with a button-hole fixing. Price £65 ZR32. FERRARI OWNERS CLUB COMMITTEE MEMBERS LAPEL BADGE. This is extremely rare, being believed to be one of only twelve made for the club.It was made in the 1970s and is in very good condition, with a rear pin fixing with safety catch. Price £200 ZR34. AGIP PRE-WAR LAPEL BADGE .A rare badge from this Italian petroleum company.It is made of enamelled brass and has a rear screw fixing. Price £170 ZR35. ULSTER TT 1934 LAPEL BADGE. GOODWOOD ROAD RACING CLUB 2000 MEMBERS LAPEL BADGE. Just what it says, issued to members of the modern Goodwood Club. It has a rear pin fixing and is in good condition. Price £30 ZQ9. GOODWOOD MARCH ENCLOSURE 2003 LAPEL BADGE. These gilt and painted enamel badges are really very nicely made. They are also numbered to the reverse. It has an original cord. Price £30
ZQ15. NURBURGRING LAPEL/TIE-PIN BADGE. This one is an original and in very nice condition. Not to be confused with the East European versions around.The enamel is in very good condition. It is probably dating from the late 1950s, as it came from a Vanwall mechanic. Price £85 ZQ11. AUSTIN HEALEY LAPEL BADGE.This is a period badge produced as an accessory, not by the manufacturer. It is enamel and chrome and is in very good condition.It has a rear pin fixing. Price £35 ZQ16. MONZA AUTODROME LAPEL BADGE. Another hard to find badge, from the same Vanwall mechanic. The chrome and enamel is in good condition and it has a button-hole fixing. Price £80 ZQ17. MASERATI LAPEL BADGE. This is the normal lapel badge from the 1960's, but it has a small amount of enamel missing from the trident.It has a button-hole fixing. Price £40 ZQ20. RAC MOTOR SPORT MEMBERS CAR BADGE.These tend to fade a bit on the blue plastic part, as this one has. They were issued to motor sports members only and I think you had to have a competition licence to get one. It is made of pressed steel and plastic and measures 5 x 4 inches. Price £70 ZQ21. MALAYAN MOTOR SPORTS CLUB CAR BADGE.This on is from the 1950s and is of chrome plated and enamelled plate. It measure 4 1/2 x 3 inches. Price £65 SP23. BRANDS HATCH CIRCUIT CAR BADGE. The Renamel company made a series of these badges and this one for Brands is in very good condition.It was produced in the early 1970's. Price £85 SP24. CRYSTAL PALACE CIRCUIT CAR BADGE. Another one of the series in very good condition. Price £85 ZP2. FERRARI OWNERS CLUB CAR BADGE. With the restrictions on the use of the Ferrari logo,badges like this are no longer available. This one is in very good condition and measures 3 3/8 x 2 1/2 inches. Price £295 ZP4. HISTORIC SPORTS CAR CLUB. This is one of the original club badges and it is in near mint condition. It measures 3 x 4 1/2 inches. Price £125 ZP9. SEBRING 1959 DRIVER BADGE. This was issued to James Johnston, a Ferrari driver,in the Amoco Trophy race. It is in good condition , with a rear pin fixing and measures 2 1/2 inches in diameter. Price £95 ZP11. BRITISH LEYLAND SPECIAL TUNING LAPEL BADGE. This is an original factory issue lapel badge for the competition department at BL. Price £70 ZP14. PARIS-NICE LAPEL BADGE. This was issued by the Automobile Club de Nice et Cote d'Azure. It has the Drago stamp to the reverse and a pin-fixing. I am not sure of the year, but it is in very good condition. Price £120 ZO5. ALFA ROMEO DASHBOARD PLAQUE. I'm not sure what this is for, but it is modern and very nicely made. The 30's design is in chrome and enamel and it is in very good condition. It measures 2 3/8 x 2 7/8 inches. Price £45 ZO8. MOTOR RACING REGISTER CAR BADGE. This one is numbered 29 and was issued to Derek H. Phillips, a pre and post-war competitor in MGs and 500c.c.cars.The badge itself has the usual loss of enamel below the number and this has been painted over at some time. THE ROYAL SOCIETY OF ST. GEORGE CAR BADGE. A fine badge for this society,
with heavy chrome and enamelling. It measures 4 1/4 x 3 1/2 inches. Price £65 ZM14.
BRABHAM VIVA GT SIDE BADGES.An unused pair of badges for this Vauxhall
model that was "souped-up" by Jack Brabham Motors.Each measures
2 x 2 1/4 inches and the adhesive backing is still unused. The badges
are made of anodised aluminium. Price £70 the pair. ZJ17. GUNNAR NILSSON APPEAL FUND LAPEL BADGE. One of the charity funds set up for the driver who died in hospital in 1978 . type of badge and is in very good condition. It is numbered GL4067

badge. The enamel and chrome are in new condition. It was made in

SHARK ANGLING CLUB OF GREAT BRITAIN CAR BADGE. Although this is nothing
to do with motor racing, it is a rare badge, particularly with the "member" wording.It

SHOW 1964 LAPEL BADGE. I'm pretty sure that this was a badge used by
participants at the show that year. It was made by Collett Badges,is

DASHBOARD PLAQUE. This is an unusual souvenir plaque from the infamous
location of Hitler's hide-away. It is made of enamelled white metal
and there is a small amount of enamel loss on the left-hand screw hole.The
manufacturer's name, C.Poellath of Schroeenhausen, stamped on the reverse.Ideal

HELGOLAND FAHRT. An unusual memento from 1930 , in the shape of a ship's
wheel, this car badge or dashboard plaque is in fine enamel detail, with
some chips, but shows the route of the trip around the island with written
detail. Enamel on brass , it measures 4 1/4 inches across. Price £325 E46. BRABHAM. An original lapel badge for this team from the mid 60's. It is in good condition and measures 1 3/4 inches in diameter. Price £365 ZQ2. MILLE MIGLIA 1953 FINISHERS MEDAL. These are being snapped up by collectors now as there were never many issued.The bronze medal is a little worn and measures 4cms in diameter. Price £350 ZQ3. MILLE MIGLIA 1956 FINISHERS MEDAL. Another one in reasonable condition. Price £350 ZP26. BRDC EMPIRE TROPHY RACE 1936 FINISHER AWARD-DR.J.D. BENJAFIELD. This is the award presented to Benjafield for finishing the race in an ERA. It is in the original presentation case and measures 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches. Price £1,300 ZP22. LIME ROCK COMPETITOR PLAQUE 1968. These are issued to competitors in the races. It measures 3 1/2 x 1 3/4 inches and is made of tin-plate. Price £45 SP22. ELSTREE 1946 V.S.C.C. TROPHY. This is a very unusual trophy in the form of a tobacco jar. It is inscribed " 1st 1100 c.c. Racing, J.Weir", but the odd thing is that it has been made out of a wooden curtain pole end! There were tremendous shortages immediately after the war, so I assume theY had to improvise. It measures 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 inches. Price £75 SP15. TOUR DE FRANCE AUTOMOBILE 1964 CLASS WINNERS MEDAL. This bronze medal was presented to Robert Buchet, who came third overall and first in class , driving a Porsche 904. The double-sided medal is engraved with the words " Robert Buchet, Vainqueur, X111 Tour de France Automobile". It measures 2 3/8 inches in diameter. Price £525 SP16. LE MANS 24 HOURS 1968 DRIVERS MEDAL. This is another medal from Robert Buchet, who was racing a Porsche 907. He retired after 6 hours with starter motor problems. The bronze medal was issued to all competitors and is engraved "Pilote, 24 Heures du Mans 1968. It measures 2 3/8 inches in diameter. Price £525 ZL29. JIM CLARK WINNERS SASH-DUTCH GRAND PRIX
1967. This is a very significant piece of motor racing history,
in as much that this was the first race of the Lotus 49 and the
first race for the Cosworth DFV. Both winning in the hands of Jim
Clark. The sash is fitted in a hand made aluminium case.A slice
of history. Price £6,500 ZG39. EXETER & DISTRICT M.C.C. OPEN HILL CLIMB MEDAL 1911.This award was presented to C.Roper for the fastest time in the Touring class at the event on July 29th.The 1 1/2 inch diameter, white metal, medal is in its original presentation case.Price £85 ZG40. EXETER & DISTRICT M.C.C. OPEN HILL CLIMB MEDAL 1911. Another medal won by C.Roper, this time it just says "Touring 2nd C.Roper". It is also in the original presentation case. Price £85 ZG41. WATFORD & DIST.AUTO CLUB REVENGE TRIAL 1928.An award presented to H.E.Nicholson on this trial.It doesn't say why, but the medal is enamel and solid silver. Price £70 ZF100. TROPHY PLAQUE, 1955. A small trophy shield-shaped plaque, this time engraved E.BRANDON, S.LEWIS-EVANS, R.K.TYRELL. Price £45 ZB17. WEYBRIDGE MOTOR SPORTS CLUB MEDAL. This is a beautifully made presentation medal for the Captain Vickers Trial of 1947. The recipient's name, T. Bellm engraved on the reverse.Price £65 ZB18. MACAU GRAND PREMIO 1978. A presentation coin given to participants in this annual race event.It also celebrates the 25th anniversary. It takes the form of a silver 100 Patacas coin in a plastic case. Price £65 R33. LORD MAYOR'S SHOW 1963.A medal presented to participants in "The History of British Motoring Cavalcade" at the Lord Mayor's show in '64. It is made of enamel and white metal and is complete with the original presentation box. Price £60 Q26. MARTINI INTERNATIONAL TROPHY RACE, SILVERSTONE 1967. A medal awarded to the Ford GT40 that finished second in this Martini sponsored race. It comes with a presentation case from the manufacturer, Garrard & Co and is made of plated bronze. It measures 3 inches in diameter and is inscribed " 10th Martini International Trophy Race, Silverstone 1967, 2nd Place. The other side has the Martini International Club logo on it. Price £365. Q30. 1000 KMS, SILVERSTONE 1985. A similar award. Price £65 P43. LA CARRERA PANAMERICANA 1992. A finishers award for the retro running of this event in 1992. It has the inscription "Tercer Lugar, CD.Mexico-Leon, Open Class". It measures 12 x 8 inches and is made of plastic coated wood. Price £95 P44. LA CARRERA PANAMERICANA 1995. Another finishers award, this time for the 1995 event, with the inscription " Tuxtla Gutierrez-Nuevo Laredo, 4to Lugar, Absoluto, Mexico 2 de Noviembre de 1995". It measures 9 x 7 inches and is made of etched aluminium on wood. Price £60. O6. BRITISH AUTOMOBILE RACING CLUB TROPHY. A very nice pewter trophy, presented to R. Rose, for third place in the Mallory Park sports car race on 17th August in 1963. He was driving a Lotus Elite in this event. The trophy is mounted on a stand and the overall dimensions are 4 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches. Price £200 O7. KANONLOPPET
RACE MEETING 1954. A finisher's award (3rd place) for this famous Swedish
event, organised by the Karlskoga Motorklubb at the Karlskoga Motorstadion
on October 10th 1954. The bronze plaque, measures 1 1/8 x 2 inches and
is stamped by the manufacturer, Lagerstroems to the reverse. Price £125 N8. KENT & SUSSEX LIGHT CAR CLUB. A very nice boxed award from this club, made of enamelled bronze. The rear is engraved " Racing Cars, 2000 c.c., Second, T.V.G. Selby, 13-7-29". He may have been driving a Bugatti in this event. Price £120 L16. SEBRING 3 HOUR GRAND PRIX OF ENDURANCE TROPHY 1963. A pewter trophy/ vase for this event , awarded to C. Stockhard, inscribed " Sebring 3 Hour Grand Prix of Endurance, 3rd. GT, Group 1.". The vase has a small dent in the front that can be repaired. It measures 6 1/4 x 3 inches. Price £400 H32. AVON MOTOR TOUR OF BRITAIN 1974. An award for the winners of class A1 in the form of a statuette, made out of resin , mounted on a turned wooden base. There is a mark on the base, but it is not clear as to who the artist is. The winner of this trophy was Tony Lanfranchi , driving, I think an Opel Commodore. The figure, seated on some tyres, is wearing race overalls, with driving gloves and an open face helmet, that has a bit of the peak missing. A very unusual trophy, measuring 8 x 5 1/2 inches. Price £400 G54. HALF- LITRE CAR CLUB. A very unusual trophy in the shape of a tankard, but made out of wood. I can only assume it was given just after the war, when the 500s started and there was a shortage of materials. The Club logo is on both sides and at some time it has been autographed, but it is now hard to pick any names out, It measures 4 1/2 x 4 inches. Price £60

This is an odd item, but worth showing for the Hillman enthusiasts.It is probably late pre-war or early post, but it has survived in good condition, with a few fold marks. It measures 19 1/2 x 29 inches. Price £100 ZR39. RAC TT 1977 RACE POSTER. An original poster featuring the Jaguar works car in full flight.It has fold marks, but otherwise is in good condition. It measures 20 x 30 inches. Price £85 ZR40. PORSCHE INDY CAR FACTORY POSTER. This is a rare one, featuring the Quaker State sponsored car.The poster has one fold mark across the middle and some scratching along the edges.It measures 21 3/4 x 34 inches. Price £120 ZR41. GULF-PORSCHE 917 CHAMPIONSHIP POSTER. This was produced by the Italian magazine,Auto Sprint, in 1970. It has fold marks, but otherwise is in good condition. It measures 23 1/2 x 35 inches. Price £90 ZR42. PORSCHE CAN-AM SUCCESS POSTER. Porsche wins Edmonton 1973. An original poster in good condition. It measures 30 x 40 inches. Price £80 ZQ19. MID-OHIO 1965 ROAD RACING CHAMPIONSHIP RACE POSTER.This is one I have never seen before. The artwork is by an artist who's name I don't recognise and it is a bit like Turner in style, but not in detail. The car is a cross between any two cars you like.It has pin-hole in each corner and some minor tears, but generally is not too bad. It measures 15 x 22 inches.Price £225 ZP27. INTERNATIONAL ROAD RACE 1948 PROGRAMME. This is an original programme for this event,in good condition. There are pen notations on the entry list and the staples are rusted. Price £45 ZP28. BRITISH EMPIRE TROPHY RACE 1937 PROGRAMME. This has been dropped in the mud at some time and two of the pages have mud-stains on them, otherwise it is in fair condition with loose pages. Price £30 ZP29. BROOKLANDS SOCIETY 1987 ANNUAL DINNER MENU. The menu has been signed by a number of guests, including Taso Mathieson,John Delany,Brian Dinsley and others. Price £30 SP20. DAYTONA BEACH BAND. This is probably the most unusual thing I have offered on my web site. A 6 piece miniature band sitting on beer barrels, with the words Daytona Beach Fla. spelled out on three of the barrels. The musicians are carved out of wood , as are the barrels, then hand painted. Truly a souvenir of Florida. Each musician/barrel is only 1 1/4- 1 3/4 inches high. Price for the set £120 G56. DAS AUTOBUCH. A first edition, in German, of this book written by Hans Stuck and E.G. Burggaller in 1933 and with a foreword by Adolf Hitler ! It is in very good condition, but is minus the dust jacket. 256 pp. Price £125 G26. COVENTRY CLIMAX. A factory produced item, to celebrate the manufacture of the " fire pump engine that wins motor races". A white metal medal, set in a block of Perspex, with the words " The Greatest Engine in Motor Racing History" on the face and the previous wording to the rear. overalls, boots, helmet, etc. 36 inches long x 12 x 12. Price £160 F42. PENKNIFE. An brass sided, two bladed penknife with an Edwardian motoring scene repeated on both sides. The blades are marked Hofritz and Solingen, 3 3/8 inches long, folded. Price £35 D16. GOODWOOD HOTEL. A drinks tray, removed from the Hotel sometime in the 50's. It is inscribed " Goodwood Hotel " to the centre and measures 12 x 9 inches. Made of Firth Staybrite ( chrome plated steel). Price £120 C39. JIM CLARK- LOTUS 49 STEERING WHEEL. This is the original wheel that came from the Lotus 49 R2 that won the Dutch Grand Prix in 1967. This was the first GP win for the 49 at the first attempt. The provenance is the same as the Wigram trophy and the sash. (see Trophies section higher up on this page) This is another very rare item relating to Clark and Lotus.
