ZR2. AC OWNERS CLUB CAR BADGE. This is a 1950s version of the badge and has some enamel loss along the bottom. It measures 4 x 3 inches. Price £100

ZR3. CHICAGO MOTOR CLUB CAR BADGE. This one is probably pre-war and has some enamel damage and loss, but it generally in good condition. Is is convex and measures 3 1/2 inches in diameter. Price £85

ZR4. LONDON MOTOR CLUB CAR BADGE. This badge has a small chip in the enamel flag, but otherwise is in good condition. It looks like the tongue has been shortened a bit. It measures 4 x 3 1/4 inches. Price £85

ZR5. WEST ESSEX CAR CLUB CAR BADGE. This badge is in good condition and has been mounted on a chrome support, to enable badge-bar mounting. The overall size is 4 x 3 1/4 inches. Price £90

ZR7. LAPEL BADGE COLLECTION. Another well presented collection of lapel badges on a chrome badge bar. This is a very good selection of badges and consists of the following: London Motor Club, West Hants and District Car Club, AA,N.L.E.C.C., AC Owners Club, Southsea Motor Club, West Essex Car Club, BARC, Aston Martin, Order of the Road, Herts County Auto & Aero Club, Riley Motor Club, Veteran Motorist (15 years ), RAC,Junior Car Club, Hagley & District Light Car Club and MG Car Club. ZR12. HAGLEY & DISTRICT LIGHT CAR CLUB LAPEL PIN. It is in good condition and has a pin fixing. Price £35

ZR14. RAC LAPEL BADGE.This is an early 1950's lapel, in good condition, with button-hole fixing. Price £25

ZR22. INSTITUTE OF ADVANCED MOTORISTS LAPEL BADGE. A nice littl lapel in good condition and with button-hole fixing. Price £20

ZR24. VETERAN MOTORIST LAPEL BADGE. This one has 10 years on it, signifying 10 years without an accident. It has a button-hole fixing. Price £25
ZR25. VETERAN MOTORIST LAPEL BADGE. As above, but with 15 years. Price £30

ZR32. FERRARI OWNERS CLUB COMMITTEE MEMBERS LAPEL BADGE. This is extremely rare, being believed to be one of only twelve made for the club.It was made in the 1970s and is in very good condition, with a rear pin fixing with safety catch. Price £200

ZR34. AGIP PRE-WAR LAPEL BADGE .A rare badge from this Italian petroleum company.It is made of enamelled brass and has a rear screw fixing. Price £170

ZR35. ULSTER TT 1934 LAPEL BADGE. A nice bronze and enamel badge with a clip rear fixing. Price £90

ZR37. FORMULA  VEE GREAT BRITAIN LAPEL BADGE.This chrome and enamel badge has a rear pin fixing. Price £35

ZQ5.    GOODWOOD ROAD RACING CLUB 2000 MEMBERS LAPEL BADGE. Just what it says, issued to members of the modern Goodwood Club. It has a rear pin fixing and is in good condition. Price £30

ZQ9.   GOODWOOD MARCH ENCLOSURE 2003 LAPEL BADGE. These gilt and painted enamel badges are really very nicely made. They are also numbered to the reverse. It has an original cord. Price £30


ZQ10.   GOODWOOD REVIVAL 2005 PARTICIPANTS BADGE. Another well produced, numbered badge, with original cord. Price £30

ZQ15.    NURBURGRING LAPEL/TIE-PIN BADGE.  This one is an original and in very nice condition. Not to be confused with the East European versions around.The enamel is in very good condition. It is probably dating from the late 1950s, as it came from a Vanwall mechanic. Price £85

ZQ11.    AUSTIN HEALEY LAPEL BADGE.This is a period badge produced as an accessory, not by the manufacturer. It is enamel and chrome and is in very good condition.It has a rear pin fixing. Price £35

ZQ16.     MONZA AUTODROME LAPEL BADGE.  Another hard to find badge, from the same Vanwall mechanic. The chrome and enamel is in good condition and it has a button-hole fixing. Price £80

ZQ17.    MASERATI LAPEL BADGE.  This is the normal lapel badge from the 1960's, but it has a small amount of enamel missing from the trident.It has a button-hole fixing. Price £40

ZQ20.    RAC MOTOR SPORT MEMBERS CAR BADGE.These tend to fade a bit on the blue plastic part, as this one has. They were issued to motor sports members only and I think you had to have a competition licence to get one. It is made of pressed steel and plastic and measures 5 x 4 inches. Price £70

ZQ21.    MALAYAN MOTOR SPORTS CLUB CAR BADGE.This on is from the 1950s and is of chrome plated and enamelled plate. It measure 4 1/2 x 3 inches. Price £65

SP23.    BRANDS HATCH CIRCUIT CAR BADGE. The Renamel company made a series of these badges and this one for Brands is in very good condition.It was produced in the early 1970's. Price £85

SP24.    CRYSTAL PALACE CIRCUIT CAR BADGE. Another one of the series in very good condition. Price £85

ZP2. FERRARI OWNERS CLUB CAR BADGE. With the restrictions on the use of the Ferrari logo,badges like this are no longer available. This one is in very good condition and measures 3 3/8 x 2 1/2 inches. Price £295

ZP4. HISTORIC SPORTS CAR CLUB. This is one of the original club badges and it is in near mint condition. It measures 3 x 4 1/2 inches. Price £125

ZP9. SEBRING 1959 DRIVER BADGE. This was issued to James Johnston, a Ferrari driver,in the Amoco Trophy race. It is in good condition , with a rear pin fixing and measures 2 1/2 inches in diameter. Price £95

ZP11. BRITISH LEYLAND SPECIAL TUNING LAPEL BADGE. This is an original factory issue lapel badge for the competition department at BL. Price £70

ZP12. BRITISH RACING DRIVERS CLUB TIE PIN. This is the only one of these I have ever seen. It is hallmarked, possibly 1933/34. Price £375

ZP14. PARIS-NICE LAPEL BADGE. This was issued by the Automobile Club de Nice et Cote d'Azure. It has the Drago stamp to the reverse and a pin-fixing. I am not sure of the year, but it is in very good condition. Price £120

ZP15. ORMA ASSOCIATE MEMBERS LAPEL BADGE. This is the later, Owen Racing Motors Association of the BRM supporters lapel badge. It has a rear pin fixing. Price £45

ZO5.    ALFA ROMEO DASHBOARD PLAQUE. I'm not sure what this is for, but it is modern and very nicely made. The 30's design is in chrome and enamel and it is in very good condition. It measures 2 3/8 x 2 7/8 inches. Price £45

ZO8.    MOTOR RACING REGISTER CAR BADGE. This one is numbered 29 and was issued to Derek H. Phillips, a pre and post-war competitor in MGs and 500c.c.cars.The badge itself has the usual loss of enamel below the number and this has been painted over at some time. ZO9.    GOODYEAR LONG SERVICE LAPEL BADGES. A set of 7 long service lapel badges in gold and enamel and of various designs. Each one is numbered to the rear and has a pin fixing. There are lapels for 5,10,15,20,25,30 and 35 years service. Individual photos are available. Price £400

ZO13.    BRITISH GRAND PRIX 1970 ENTRANT ARMBAND. This was a Brands Hatch event, but I don't know who the entrant was. Maybe Ferrari or Lotus or whatever you want. The cloth/paper band is in a worn condition. Price £30


ZN3. SCOTTISH MOTOR RACING CLUB CAR BADGE. This badge has a little bit of damage to the enamel at the bottom of the shield, but otherwise is in good condition. It measures 3 x 4 inches. Price £130

ZN12. LE MANS ST.CHRISTOPHER CAR BADGE. This is a late 50's badge in very good condition and currently mounted on a badge bar.It measures 3 x 3 3/4 inches. Price £160

ZN13. GOODWOOD ST. CHRISTOPHER CAR BADGE. Another one, on the same badge bar, also in good condition. It measures 3 x 3 3/4 inches. Price £160

ZN15. ENGLAND ST. CHRISTOPHER CAR BADGE. This is also on the badge bar and is in good condition. It measures 3 x 3 3/4 inches. Price £85 

ZN22. COOPER RACING CAR LAPEL BADGE. A late 50's/60's badge in enamel. This was just a souvenir badge at the time. Price £35

ZN23. BRITISH MOTOR RACING MARSHALLS CLUB LAPEL BADGE. A nice badge in good condition, with rear pin fixing. Price £35

ZN25. PRESCOTT BUGATTI OWNERS CLUB LAPEL BADGE. These were issued to members on an annual basis with subsequent year bars. This one has a 1964 bar. It has a rear pin fixing. Price £45

ZN26. BRITISH GRAND PRIX LAPEL BADGE. This one has year bars for 1974 and 1975 and a rear pin fixing. Price £45


ZM2. INVICTA CAR CLUB CAR BADGE. Another one, but of lesser quality and with the word "Invicta" at the base.It is painted and chrome plated.It measures 5 x 2 3/4 inches. Price £150

ZM11. THE ROYAL SOCIETY OF ST. GEORGE CAR BADGE. A fine badge for this society, with heavy chrome and enamelling. It measures 4 1/4 x 3 1/2 inches. Price £65

ZM13. STEIERM AUTOMOBIL U MOTORSPORTKLUB CAR BADGE. Another chrome and enamel badge for this club.It has an additional metal backing ,but the badge itself is in good condition,the enamel being intact. It measures 3 1/2 inches in diameter. Price£50

ZM14. BRABHAM VIVA GT SIDE BADGES.An unused pair of badges for this Vauxhall model that was "souped-up" by Jack Brabham Motors.Each measures 2 x 2 1/4 inches and the adhesive backing is still unused. The badges are made of anodised aluminium. Price £70 the pair.

ZM36. BARC OFFICIAL LAPEL BADGE.An official's lapel for the years 73/75/77. It has a rear pin fixing. Price £50


ZL10.    B.A.R.C. JUNIOR MEMBER LAPEL BADGE. Like the senior one, but with the word "Junior" across the bottom. It is in good condition and has a rear pin fixing. Price £50

ZL12.    PORSCHE CLUB GB LAPEL BADGE. You don't see many of these. This one is in good condition and has a rear pin fixing. Price £65.

ZL13.    MASERATI LAPEL BADGE.An original 50/60's badge in good condition. It has a rear button-hole fixing. Price £60


ZL14.    FERRARI CLUB OF FRANCE LAPEL BADGE. A modern one, in very good condition and rear pin fixing. Price £25

ZL16.    NSU-PRINZ STICK PIN.This is from the late 50's,early 60's. An original pin. Price £30


ZK17.   LOTUS LAPEL BADGE. A factory issue in black.It has a rear pin fixing. Price £60

ZK18.   DENNY HULME LAPEL BADGE. These were made, after Denny's death, to commemorate his racing success. It has a rear pin fixing. Price £50

ZK19.    AUSTIN STICK PIN.This is probably for the American market in the 50s. Price £30

ZK37.    GOODWOOD FESTIVAL OF SPEED 1999 PARTICIPANTS BADGE. These are the same, but for the hill-climb at Goodwood House in June/July. Price £40


ZJ12.    ALL AMERICAN RACERS LAPEL BADGE. This is an original pin for the famous Eagle team, known as the All American Racers. This is a small chrome and enamel badge with a rear pin fixing. Price £70

ZJ17.     GUNNAR NILSSON APPEAL FUND LAPEL BADGE. One of the charity funds set up for the driver who died in hospital in 1978 . It has a rear pin fixing. Price £20

ZJ18.    JPS BRITISH GRAND PRIX 1984 JACKET PATCHES. A pair of unused patches for this event. They are 4 inches in diameter. Price for the pair £20

ZI1. BRITISH AUTOMOBILE RACING CLUB CAR BADGE. This is the radiator mounting type of badge and is in very good condition. It is numbered GL4067 to the reverse. Price £110

ZI13. NELSON ENGINE SERVICES CAM COVER BADGE. Another well known name in racing engines. It is made of aluminium, and measures 4 7/8 x 1 1/4 inches. Price £45


ZI18. BARC GOODWOOD GUEST BROOCH 1958. This is numbered 280 and is in very good condition. Price £70

ZI23. L'ACTION AUTOMOBILE ET TOURISTIQUE LAPEL BADGE. This is a lapel from the French sports magazine, popular in the 50's. It has a pin fixing to the rear and is in very good condition. Price £40

ZH3. GOODWOOD ST. CHRISTOPHER CAR BADGE. This is a mint example of this badge. The enamel and chrome are in new condition. It was made in the late 50's and
depicts a Jaguar D-Type on the track. Price £160

ZH5. SILVERSTONE ST. CHRISTOPHER CAR BADGE. Another mint badge from this series. Featuring a single-seater on the circuit. Again this was produced in  the late 50s. Price £125}

ZH17. BROOKLANDS SOCIETY LAPEL BADGE. This is a fairly modern lapel badge for the Society, with rear pin fixing. Price £30

ZH26. FORD OVERALLS PATCH. An unused patch from the 60's,4 inches long. Price £25

ZH27. LOTUS OVERALLS PATCH. An unused patch, 3 inches diameter. Price £30

ZH28. COOPER OVERALLS PATCH. An unused patch, 3 inches in diameter. This is probably from the early to mid 50's. Price £40

ZH29. PROST MARLBORO OVERALLS PATCH. This is an unused patch for Alain Prost's overalls/jacket. It measures 3 3/4 inches square. Price £40

ZH38.& 39. GOLD LEAF TEAM LOTUS DECAL. This is an original windscreen decal for the team. It measures 4 3/4 x 2 3/8 inches and is unused. Price £20 each.

ZG2. SHARK ANGLING CLUB OF GREAT BRITAIN CAR BADGE. Although this is nothing to do with motor racing, it is a rare badge, particularly with the "member" wording.It measures 3 1/4 inches in diameter and is designed for radiator mounting.Price £120

ZG3. SHARK ANGLING CLUB OF GREAT BRITAIN CAR BADGE. This must be the earliest version of this badge and it has very fine enamelling.The badge was made by a company in Plymouth,R.B.Wigfull & Son,but the chrome is showing signs of wear. The tongue is meant to be bent backwards. It measures 3 x 3 3/4 inches. Price £160

ZG22. RACING CAR SHOW 1964 LAPEL BADGE. I'm pretty sure that this was a badge used by participants at the show that year. It was made by Collett Badges,is quite long at 2 inches and has a button-hole fixing. Price £35

ZG23. BRANDS HATCH CIRCUIT LAPEL BADGE. I don't know when or why this was produced but it is a design I have seen before. It has a pin fixing to the rear. Price £40

ZG25. RAC LAPEL BADGE. This was produced in the 50's and has a button-hole fixing. It is in very good condition. Price £30

ZG28. LOTUS LAPEL PIN. An original pin with sprung-loaded clasp to the rear.Price £65

ZG31. VW CHARM BRACELET CHARM. A solid silver VW beetle charm for a charm bracelet. Price £50

ZF94. OULTON PARK MOTOR RACING CIRCUIT 1967 MEMBER'S BADGE. An unusual annual lapel badge for the circuit, complete with original cord and numbered 273 to the reverse. Price £50

ZG36. BERCHTESGADEN DASHBOARD PLAQUE. This is an unusual souvenir plaque from the infamous location of Hitler's hide-away. It is made of enamelled white metal and there is a small amount of enamel loss on the left-hand screw hole.The manufacturer's name, C.Poellath of Schroeenhausen, stamped on the reverse.Ideal for your pre-war Mercedes. It measures 3 1/4 inches in diameter. Price £200

ZE22.    GRAHAM HILL STEERING WHEEL CLUB MEMBERSHIP CARD.This is his membership card for 1969 and although not signed by him, it has his name written inside.The Steering Wheel Club was the London meeting place for all of the Formula 1 drivers in the '60's.Provenence is available. Price £200

ZC12. MERCEDES BENZ CUP 1977. A competitors badge for this event which was held at the Salzburgring.It is mounted on a metal backplate and measures 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches overall. The badge itself is made of bronze. Price £50

ZC17. PORSCHE 968 CS. A lapel pin , produced for the launch of this model.It has rear pin fixing. Price £30

ZC18. PORSCHE CARRERA RS. A lapel pin for this model, produced for the factory. It has rear pin fixing. Price £30

ZC31. WATKINS GLEN MEDALLION. An unusual medallion, made of pewter, with the wording "Watkins Glen,NY,Home or the Grand Prix". It was probably made in the 70s as a souvenir. It measures 1 3/4 inches in diameter. Price £45

ZC32. SILVERSTONE LAPEL BADGE. A rather large badge for this cicuit, showing a 50s single-seater on the track. It is in good condition and has a pin fixing to the rear.Price £45

ZB4. BUGATTI OWNERS CLUB PRESCOTT BADGE. A lapel badge issued by the BOC for the hill climb venue run by the club. Price £70

ZA6.    ADAC 1000 KM RENNEN 1953. A rare pit crew lapel badge for this sports car race, held, I think at the 'Ring. It is made of a painted metal and has a safety-pin fixing to the rear. Price £65

X30.   AUSTRALIAN RACING DRIVERS CLUB 1973 / 74. A members lapel badge, numbered 415 to the rear. Price £65

X31.   AUSTRALIAN RACING DRIVERS CLUB 1975 / 76. A members lapel badge, numbered 644 to the rear. Price £50 X32.   AUSTRALIAN RACING DRIVERS CLUB 1976 / 77. A members lapel badge, numbered 644 to the rear. Price £50

W10.    RAC JUBILEE 1947. A lapel badge produced by the RAC to commemorate their 50th anniversary. It has a rear button hole fixing. Price £35

U13.    ALFA ROMEO SCRIPT. An aluminium version of the famous logo. It measures 6 3/4 inches in length. Price £30

U22.    PUCH LAPEL PIN.    A nice example of this badge in enamel and brass. Pin fixing . Price £35

U24.    CZ MOTORCYCLE LAPEL PIN. A poorer quality pin, made in Prague. Price £30

U25.    JAWA MOTORCYCLE LAPEL PIN. Another pin, this one is also of inferior quality. Price £30

U26.    CZ MEDALLION. An unusual double-sided medal with a motorcycle and rider to the reverse. This may have been linked to the Six-Days Trial. Price £30

U27. JAWA MEDALLION. Another one , this time for Jawa, with a motorcycle and rider to the reverse. Price £30

U33.    MHSTC LAPEL PIN. This one is a mystery to me . Can anyone help? Price £45

S6.    CIAPGP BADGE. This is the club badge for the former Grand Prix drivers, which still meets at various GPs around the world. It is enamelled brass and measures 3 inches in diameter. Price £200

Q10.    POLSKI ZWIAZEK MOTOROWY. A fairly crude badge for this Polish club, made of painted aluminium, but complete with gold embossed presentation box. Price £65

O37.    VINTAGE SPORTS CAR CLUB ASSOCIATE.A nice example of this rare car badge,with a small amount of pitting to the chrome,but otherwise in good condition. It measures 3 3/8 x 3 1/4 inches. Price £70

M9.    MERCEDES. A lapel pin from this manufacturer, probably from the mid 50's. Price £50 ( 2 available.)

K41.   BRANDS HATCH MOTOR CLUB 1964.A member's lapel badge , complete with cord and numbered 9 to the reverse. Price £70

K42.   BRANDS HATCH MOTOR CLUB 1964. A member's guest brooch, numbered 9 to the reverse. Price £40

K43.   BRANDS HATCH MOTOR CIRCUIT 1965. A member's lapel badge, numbered 123 to the reverse and complete with cord. Price £70

K38.   MALLORY PARK MOTOR CLUB 1963. A member's lapel badge for this circuit, complete with cord and numbered 48 to the reverse. Price £70

K33.   SNETTERTON MOTOR CIRCUIT 1965.A members lapel badge for this circuit for 1965, complete with matching cord. Enamel on brass , in good condition. Numbered 97 to the reverse. Price £70

K34.   SNETTERTON MOTOR CIRCUIT 1965. A member's guest brooch for 1965, numbered 97, enamelled , in good condition. Price £40

J38.    B.R.S.C.C. As above, but with the year 1962 and a yellow racing car.Price £45

H7.    ADAC HELGOLAND FAHRT. An unusual memento from 1930 , in the shape of a ship's wheel, this car badge or dashboard plaque is in fine enamel detail, with some chips, but shows the route of the trip around the island with written detail. Enamel on brass , it measures 4 1/4 inches across. Price £325

H6.    A COLLECTION OF 37 DASHBOARD PLAQUES. This collection includes badges from various Alpine regions of Europe, Italy, Austria , Germany and Switzerland. They were collected by drivers, mostly pre-war ,on their travels through the famous Alpine passes and winery regions of Europe. This is an unusual collection, some badges are very detailed enamel, others being simple pressed aluminium. An instant collection for the study wall.    Price £350

E46.    BRABHAM. An original lapel badge for this team from the mid 60's. These badges were also used for the gear lever knob centre. Price £45

B26. ULSTER TT SUPPORTERS CLUB. An unusual lapel badge from the early 50's, with what looks like an Aston Martin DB3S depicted. Gold colour with green enamel. In good condition. Price £80

ZR29ZR28. LOTHIAN CAR CLUB CLOSED TRIAL 1950 MINIATURE COCKTAIL SHAKER AWARD. This is a delightful trophy , the premier award, for this trial run by the Lothian Car Club.It is in the form of a miniature cocktail shaker with a set of six cocktail sticks held inside. The whole thing is silver plate and was probably made in the 1930s. It is inscribed " Lothian Car Club, Closed Trial, 19/2/50, Premier Award, J.L.H.R.Miller". The shaker is only 4 1/4 inches high. ZR29. M.G.C.C. SPRING AUTOCROSS 1954 AWARD. Another miniature, this time a pewter tankard, inscribed "M.G.C.C.Spring Autocross 14.3.54, 3rd Under 1500cc, W.K.Stewart". It measures 1 5/8 x 2 inches. Price £100

ZR26. MILLE MIGLIA 1957 FINISHERS MEDAL. A bronze medal presented to the competitors that completed the event. It is in good condition and measures 1 3/4 inches in diameter. Price £365

ZQ2.    MILLE MIGLIA 1953 FINISHERS MEDAL. These are being snapped up by collectors now as there were never many issued.The bronze medal is a little worn and measures 4cms in diameter. Price £350

ZP26. BRDC EMPIRE TROPHY RACE 1936 FINISHER AWARD-DR.J.D. BENJAFIELD. This is the award presented to Benjafield for finishing the race in an ERA. It is in the original presentation case and measures 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches. Price £1,300

ZP22. LIME ROCK COMPETITOR PLAQUE 1968. These are issued to competitors in the races. It measures 3 1/2 x 1 3/4 inches and is made of tin-plate. Price £45

SP22.    ELSTREE 1946 V.S.C.C. TROPHY. This is a very unusual trophy in the form of a tobacco jar. It is inscribed " 1st 1100 c.c. Racing, J.Weir", but the odd thing is that it has been made out of a wooden curtain pole end! There were tremendous shortages immediately after the war, so I assume theY had to improvise. It measures 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 inches. Price £75

SP15.     TOUR DE FRANCE AUTOMOBILE 1964 CLASS WINNERS MEDAL. This bronze medal was presented to Robert Buchet, who came third overall and first in class , driving a Porsche 904. The double-sided medal is engraved with the words " Robert Buchet, Vainqueur, X111 Tour de France Automobile". It measures 2 3/8 inches in diameter. Price £525

SP16.    LE MANS 24 HOURS 1968 DRIVERS MEDAL. This is another medal from Robert Buchet, who was racing a Porsche 907. He retired after 6 hours with starter motor problems. The bronze medal was issued to all competitors and is engraved "Pilote, 24 Heures du Mans 1968. It measures 2 3/8 inches in diameter. Price £525

ZL29.    JIM CLARK WINNERS SASH-DUTCH GRAND PRIX 1967. This is a very significant piece of motor racing history, in as much that this was the first race of the Lotus 49 and the first race for the Cosworth DFV. Both winning in the hands of Jim Clark. The sash is fitted in a hand made aluminium case.A slice of history. Price £6,500

ZJ8.    MANNIN MOAR RACE 1935. This an award of some type,but it doesn't actually say what for. The inscription reads "International Mannin Moar Race Douglas 1935" . It is probably a class award. The silver plaques are mounted on a wooden stand which measures 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches. Price £350

ZG39. EXETER & DISTRICT M.C.C. OPEN HILL CLIMB MEDAL 1911.This award was presented to C.Roper for the fastest time in the Touring class at the event on July 29th.The 1 1/2 inch diameter, white metal, medal is in its original presentation case.Price £85

ZB17. WEYBRIDGE MOTOR SPORTS CLUB MEDAL. This is a beautifully made presentation medal for the Captain Vickers Trial of 1947. The recipient's name, T. Bellm engraved on the reverse.Price £65

ZB18. MACAU GRAND PREMIO 1978. A presentation coin given to participants in this annual race event.It also celebrates the 25th anniversary. It takes the form of a silver 100 Patacas coin in a plastic case. Price £65

R33.    LORD MAYOR'S SHOW 1963.A medal presented to participants in "The History of British Motoring Cavalcade" at the Lord Mayor's show in '64. It is made of enamel and white metal and is complete with the original presentation box. Price £60

Q26.     MARTINI INTERNATIONAL TROPHY RACE, SILVERSTONE 1967. A  medal awarded to the Ford GT40 that finished second in this Martini sponsored race. It comes with a presentation case from the manufacturer, Garrard & Co and is made of plated bronze. It measures 3 inches in diameter and is inscribed " 10th Martini International Trophy Race, Silverstone 1967, 2nd Place. The other side has the Martini International Club logo on it. Price £365.

P44.    LA CARRERA PANAMERICANA 1995. Another finishers award, this time for the 1995 event, with the inscription " Tuxtla Gutierrez-Nuevo Laredo, 4to Lugar, Absoluto, Mexico 2 de Noviembre de 1995". It measures 9 x 7 inches and is made of etched aluminium on wood. Price £60.

O6.    BRITISH AUTOMOBILE RACING CLUB TROPHY. A very nice pewter trophy, presented to R. Rose, for third place in the Mallory Park sports car race on 17th August in 1963. He was driving a Lotus Elite in this event. The trophy is mounted on a stand and the overall dimensions are 4 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches. Price £200

O7.    KANONLOPPET RACE MEETING 1954. A finisher's award (3rd place) for this famous Swedish event, organised by the Karlskoga Motorklubb at the Karlskoga Motorstadion on October 10th 1954. The bronze plaque, measures 1 1/8 x 2 inches and is stamped by the manufacturer, Lagerstroems to the reverse. Price £125

N8.     KENT & SUSSEX LIGHT CAR CLUB. A very nice boxed award from this club, made of enamelled bronze. The rear is engraved " Racing Cars, 2000 c.c., Second, T.V.G. Selby, 13-7-29". He may have been driving a Bugatti in this event. Price £120

L16.   SEBRING 3 HOUR GRAND PRIX OF ENDURANCE TROPHY 1963. A pewter trophy/ vase for this event , awarded to C. Stockhard, inscribed " Sebring 3 Hour Grand Prix of Endurance, 3rd. GT, Group 1.". The vase has a small dent in the front that can be repaired. It measures 6 1/4 x 3 inches. Price £400

H32.   AVON MOTOR TOUR OF BRITAIN 1974. An award for the winners of class A1 in the form of a statuette, made out of resin , mounted on a turned wooden base. There is a mark on the base, but it is not clear as to who the artist is. The winner of this trophy was Tony Lanfranchi , driving, I think an Opel Commodore. The figure, seated on some tyres, is wearing race overalls, with driving gloves and an open face helmet, that has a bit of the peak missing. A very unusual trophy, measuring 8 x 5 1/2 inches. Price £400

G54.   HALF- LITRE CAR CLUB. A very unusual trophy in the shape of a tankard, but made out of wood. I can only assume it was given just after the war, when the 500s started and there was a shortage of materials. The Club logo is on both sides and at some time it has been autographed, but it is now hard to pick any names out, It measures 4 1/2 x 4 inches. Price £60

ZR38. HILLMAN MINX EARLS COURT POSTER. This is an odd item, but worth showing for the Hillman enthusiasts.It is probably late pre-war or early post, but it has survived in good condition, with a few fold marks. It measures 19 1/2 x 29 inches. Price £100

The artwork is by an artist who's name I don't recognise and it is a bit like Turner in style, but not in detail. The car is a cross between any two cars you like.It has pin-hole in each corner and some minor tears, but generally is not too bad. It measures 15 x 22 inches.Price £225

N36.    GRAND BAHAMA VINTAGE GRAND PRIX 1987. This very colourful poster, depicting Moss in the Aston, is signed by Stirling Moss and the artist, Denis Simon, It measures 22 1/2 x 38 inches  and is in very good condition. Price £165

N37.    SUZUKA 1000 KM 1992. An original poster for this World Sports Car Championship event. It measures 20 1/4 x 28 1/2 inches and is in very good condition. Price £120

N39.    TOKYO MOTOR SHOW 1961. An official, original, poster for this event at the Harumi Fair Ground. It measures 28 1/2 x 40 inches and has some tears and fold marks that will improve with mounting. Price £275

H31.   MICHAEL TURNER ORIGINAL ARTWORK. This is the original artwork for the 1967 BOAC World Championship Sports Car Race, held at Brands Hatch, the original poster being included in this offer. The car depicted is a sort of Lola/Aston, with a Ford GT40 following behind. This was obviously painted by Michael in period and it is very hard to find any of his earlier work today. The painting is mounted and framed, the poster is also framed and glazed. Both are in excellent condition. The medium is acrylic on board ( I think )and the painting measures 19 x 12 inches with an overall size of 28 x 22 inches. The poster measures 20 x 30 inches. The price reflects the importance of one of our best motor sport artists, the painting and poster as a pair are £2,750. (Shipping is not included in the price.)

D34.    BRANDS HATCH 1969. A very nice , Michael Turner, illustration on this original event poster for the Guards International 200 meeting. Showing the Broadspeed Escort being pursued by a Cortina and a Mini. 20 x 30 inches. Price £100

This is the first commercial print produced by Michael Turner in 1964. The original illustration was for the box top of a slot-racing game, but he decided to go into print production with it. ZI74. SPA COURSE DE COTE DE MALCHAMPS 1912 ASHTRAY/BOWL. A glass and silver ashtray that was a trophy for the first place in the 4th class of this event which was held on September 23rd. 1912. It was presented by Mr. Julien Hartog.. The bridge carrying the matches is a later edition, but it will make a nice addition to the bar. It measure 7 1/2 inches in diameter. Price £400

ZB27. ROAD SAFETY EGG-CUP SET. A set of six egg-cups with road sign motifs on the sides. This is taking collecting a bit far, but they look good on the breakfast table. Price £65

ZB36. BRUCE McLAREN / 1967 LE MANS WRISTWATCH. This watch has come directly from Bruce's widow,Patty. The back is engraved with the words 24 Heures du Mans 1967. The watch itself is a Marvin of Switzerland gold gents model, that is not working at the moment.It is thought to have been a gift to Bruce by either the ACO or Ford. Price £3,000

T28.    LANCIA NECKLACE. An unusual gift , given by Lancia on the launch of their Thema range of cars. The necklace has a gold radiator shape with a very (very) small diamond in the centre. I'm not sure what the links are made of.It has its own, silk lined, presentation box. Price £50.

T31.     AUDI QUATTRO GENTLEMEN'S WRISTWATCH. An battery powered watch with the Audi Quattro competition car on the face. The plastic case has a rotating bezel and a sweep second hand. The strap is also plastic. Price £35

T50.    ADAC-1000-KM 1964. An unusual press gift in the form of a wooden bread board. Each guest at the ADAC press dinner were given one of these. It measures 10 1/2 x 7 inches and is in un-used condition. Price £45

R34.    MIKE HAILWOOD 1940-1981. A souvenir medal produced to mark a tribute to Mike Hailwood at Donington Park on Sunday , July 11th 1982. The double sided medal comes in its original protective plastic case, in a presentation box. Price £75.

R47.    TEAM LOTUS NOTEPAD. A John Player, Team Lotus notepad in new condition. It was produced for the 1984 season and features details about the Team, drivers, schedules etc. and has photos of de Angelis and Mansell in it. The pages are all intact. Price £45

P41.   BRITISH RACING DRIVERS CLUB REPORT PAD. A very unusual item to offer and one that I can only assume was used to report driving standards at the circuit. If it was designed to report members wayward activities, it would not have been big enough. It has a two page carbon copy system and is at least 100 pages . It measures 8 x 5 inches and is in good condition. A rare item. Price £125

N11.     VOLKSWAGEN BOTTLE OPENER. Another promotional item of a bottle opener, with corkscrew and knife blade in a plastic wallet. The wallet has the VW logo and the words "Garage Patthey, Neuchatel" impressed on it. It measures 5 1/2 x 2 1/4 inches. Price £40.

N32.    MARLBORO BRITISH GRAND PRIX, SILVERSTONE, 1981. A nice marble wall clock, celebrating the RAC sponsored Grand Prix. It is battery powered and shows the track out-line as it was then ( how many circuits are there that have never been modified?). It measures 6 x 12 inches and 1/4 inch thick. Price £150

K15.   COSWORTH DFV. A commemorative plaque, no. 399, for the 150 Grand Prix victories achieved by Cosworth from June 1967 to August 1982. All of the victories are listed and there is a cut-away drawing of the engine and the inscription " Presented by Keith Duckworth, designer of the DFV engine, to commemorate 150 Grand Prix wins with DFV engines manufactured by Cosworth Engineering Ltd. June 1967 to August 1982." The plaque also has a facsimile signature of Duckworth. It measures 9 x 7 inches ,made of anodised aluminium and framed. Price £150

G57. DAYTONA BEACH BAND. This is probably the most unusual thing I have offered on my web site. A 6 piece miniature band sitting on beer barrels, with the words Daytona Beach Fla. spelled out on three of the barrels. The musicians are carved out of wood , as are the barrels, then hand painted. Truly a souvenir of Florida. Each musician/barrel is only 1 1/4- 1 3/4 inches high. Price for the set £120

G56.   DAS AUTOBUCH. A first edition, in German, of this book written by Hans Stuck and E.G. Burggaller in 1933 and with a foreword by Adolf Hitler ! It is in very good condition, but is minus the dust jacket. 256 pp. Price £125

C39.    JIM CLARK- LOTUS 49 STEERING WHEEL. This is the original wheel that came from the Lotus 49 R2 that won the Dutch Grand Prix in 1967. This was the first GP win for the 49 at the first attempt. The provenance is the same as the Wigram trophy and the sash. (see Trophies section higher up on this page) This is another very rare item relating to Clark and Lotus. Price , £ discuss, but only seriously, please.
