12thSouthampton Battalion


Meets every Friday during School Term Times. Age range from 5.1/2 years to 18 years. Activities include Football, Cricket, Table Tennis, Snooker, Teams Games, scriture competitions

  • At 5 1/2 you start in the ANCHOR BOYS.
  • Badge work is done by Boys aged 8 upwards (JUNIOR SECTION) and includes weather charts, 24 hour clock, making board games, model making, road & home safety and camping.
  • For those 11 years and upwards (COMPANY SECTION) woodwork, craftwork, first aid, advanced safety at home & places of work, camping, cross county running and Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme and many other activities.

    • The Brigade is part of the South West Hants Battalion and the World Wide movement.
